DCPC, operating Dane and Green Counties' Head Start programs, conducts enrollment in accordance with federal, state, and agency policies.

Selection for the next program year for Part Day (School Year) Programs and Home Base programs begins in March.

Head Start accepts applications year round, however, in order for your child to be considered during the initial selection process, please complete and return an application as soon as possible. After the initial selection process, Head Start openings are filled as they occur from applications on file.

• The program is not first come, first served. It is need based.
• Families are income eligible if they meet the income requirements. Click here for more information.
• Applications cannot be processed unless the income verification section is filled out completely.
• Please send proof of income with your application.
