Early Head Start Application Process

First time parents who are pregnant or whose baby is less than three months old may apply. Families with children who have diagnosed disabilities or are referred by Dane County Social Services may not meet the criteria and still be eligible. Soon-to-be and new parents should call (608) 275-6740 and ask for Early Head Start Enrollment information.

Parents will need to complete the Early Head Start Enrollment Application.

The Enrollment Process Includes:

• Nurse visit within two weeks of enrollment
• The Denver Developmental Screener to be completed and on-file within 45 days
