Preschool Opportunities

DOUBLE SESSION TEACHER

Location: Red Arrow
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, M-F, Hours may vary based on need; (40 hours per week/ part-year position)
Supervisor: Kate Linscott
Description/Qualifications: This position will involve planning, designing, and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the individual needs of all children.  Candidate needs to possess a Bachelor’s degree in ECE and have a Wisconsin DPI Pre-K License.  Experience working with highly challenging populations is desirable.  Bilingual Spanish/English is desired.

TEACHER

Location: Red Arrow +2
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM , M-F, Flexibility needed from 6-6; (40 hours per week/ full-year position)
Supervisor: Kate Linscott
Description/Qualifications: This position will involve planning, designing, and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the individual needs of all children.  Candidate needs to possess a Bachelor’s degree in ECE, CD or a related degree with 18 credits in Early Childhood and experience working in a preschool environment.  Experience working with highly challenging populations is highly desirable.

SPECIAL NEEDS AIDE

Location: South Madison
Hours: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM, T-F; (16 hours per week / Temporary position)
Supervisor: Debbie Wilcox
Description/Qualifications: This position will involve assisting the Teacher in the classroom. Candidates must be responsible, reliable, and able to supervise a group of children, as well as cooperatively work as a part of a team.  Qualified candidates will be working toward the Introduction to Childcare as a Profession course and have experience working with young children.  Experience working with challenging populations is desirable.  This position will primarily be responsible for shadowing a child with challenging or unsafe behaviors.  This is a temporary position with an end date to be determined.
