Title: Child Development & Educational Services Director
Location: Red Arrow
Supervisor: Wendy Bowe
Hours: Hours will vary based on the needs of the position. (40 hours per week/Full-year position)
Description/Qualifications: The Child Development and Educational Services Director will establish and maintain consistent exemplary child development / educational services of agency programs and family outreach. This position provides leadership and supervision of education personnel, assurance of high quality environments, appropriate curriculum and services for children served through agency programming, including the development and oversight of School Readiness efforts. Requirements include at least five years of experience in management of child development programming, knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, Wisconsin Day Care Licensing requirements 0-5, Early Childhood teaching competencies and curricula, inclusive environments, parent-child relations and family support environments. Candidates must possess or have the ability to obtain the CLASS Training the Trainer Certification within six months of hire and maintain annually. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Child/Family Development is required – Master’s Degree in same content areas is strongly preferred. Title: 4K Teacher
Location: East Madison
Supervisor: Abbi Kruse
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Mon – Fri. Hours may vary based on need. (40 hours per week / Full-year position)
Description/Qualifications: This position will involve planning, designing, and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the individual needs of all children. Will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Head Start and MMSD 4K Requirements. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in ECE and have a Wisconsin DPI Pre-K or Early Childhood Regular Education License. Title: Accountant II
Location: Red Arrow
Hours: 8:00 – 5:00, Mon-Fri. Hours may vary based on need. (40 hours per week/Full-year position)
Supervisor: Mary Beaty
Description/Qualifications: The Accountant II will perform technical and administrative accounting work necessary in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of Dane County Parent Council in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and applicable federal and state governmental accounting standards. This position assists in coordinating work with various departments to ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting of financial statements. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, as well as knowledge of GAAP and Governmental Accounting Standards Board statements, theories and practices. Previous experience in governmental accounting or related work is required.
